Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Enoshima.ai (“Enoshima”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data in connection with this website. The Enoshima desktop application is designed to run locally and does not transmit your evaluations or art data to us — see The application below.
Who we are
Enoshima.ai operates this website. For any question about your personal data, contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
- Waitlist email address. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you provide.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes limited technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site securely.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal data through this website.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To operate the waitlist — to tell you when Enoshima launches and to offer early access. Lawful basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw it at any time.
- To keep the site secure and reliable. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating and protecting the service.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers (“processors”) who act on our instructions:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery, and security.
- Mailgun — storing the waitlist and sending launch emails.
Some providers may process data outside Lithuania and the EEA. Where that involves a transfer from the EEA, it is covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until you unsubscribe, or until a reasonable period after launch, whichever comes first. Technical and security logs are retained only for a short period.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or any third-party tracking, and it loads no third-party resources — the web fonts are served from our own domain.
The application
The Enoshima desktop app is local-first. Your evaluations, uploaded artwork, and analysis stay on your Mac. The app uses your own model via Ollama and an embedded database, with no cloud services. Any API keys you choose to add are stored in the macOS Keychain. We do not receive this data.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, or to unsubscribe from waitlist emails, email [email protected] — you can also use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In Lithuania, this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija) — vdai.lrv.lt.
Children
This website and Enoshima are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
