Enoshima is designed to be honest about what it can and cannot tell you. Please read the following before relying on any output.

A research aid, not advice

Enoshima produces a research-grade second opinion, not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any artwork or other asset. Its outputs — including the cascade score, appreciation pathway, consensus map, fragility analysis, and fair-value band — are analytical estimates intended to support your own judgment.

Estimates are probabilistic

Enoshima’s analysis is generated by simulation and comparison. Like any model, it is a simplification of a complex, human market. Results may be wrong, will vary with inputs, and should be read alongside the confidence levels the tool reports. Where data is sparse, Enoshima flags it rather than overstating certainty — please take those flags seriously.

The art market carries real risk

Art is an illiquid, subjective asset. Prices can fall as well as rise; a piece may be difficult or impossible to resell; transaction costs, fees, and commissions can be significant; and questions of authenticity, condition, and provenance can materially affect value. Past performance — of an artist, a segment, or the market — does not guarantee future results.

Do your own due diligence

You are solely responsible for your decisions. Before acquiring any work, conduct independent due diligence and consult qualified professionals (such as appraisers, conservators, and your own financial and legal advisors).

No advisory relationship

Use of Enoshima or this website does not create any fiduciary, advisory, or agency relationship between you and us.

No offer

Nothing produced by Enoshima or shown on this website is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, artwork, or other asset.

Data and third parties
